VAT included, before we set off
What a plumber costs, at any hour
One price for the first hour, which is the call-out, then each half hour. The rate that applies right now is marked, and so is when waiting would cost less.
What a call-out costs
One price for the first hour, which is the call-out: getting to you, finding the problem and making it safe are all in it. Then each half hour after that. VAT is included, because that's what you pay.
