How it goes
Four photos
Your board, your meter, the parking and the route. Your price is fixed in writing, usually the same day.
Installation
Half a day. The power is off for under an hour.
Set up
The app on your phone, your cheapest hours chosen, and the first charge checked.
Questions
Do I need a new consumer unit?
Usually not. If your board is full, a small board of its own for the charger is cheaper. Older boards with fuse wire sometimes need replacing; your photo tells us which.
Will the cable run look a mess?
No. We agree the route with you before we drill, clip it straight along the mortar lines, and take it through the wall behind the charger where we can.
