From brief to handover

How we run a project in a building that stays open

One named project manager from the site visit to the handover walk-round, every variation priced before it's done, and everything recorded in your portal.

Eight steps, the same on every project

Each step has an owner and a record in your portal, so you always know what's next and who's coming.

  1. Brief

Your building, scope, hours and accreditations, from the brief or your tender documents.

  2. Site visit

We walk the building with you and check supplies, risers, access and the hours we can work.

  3. Tender

An itemised price with the programme, the assumptions and the exclusions written down.

  4. Award

Contract signed, RAMS submitted and approved, and your project manager named.

  5. Mobilise

Permits, inductions and isolations booked, and the programme in your portal.

  6. Install

First fix to commissioning, with a weekly report and every variation priced before it's done.

  7. Test and certify

Every circuit tested and certified, and the results checked by a second engineer.

  8. Handover

As-fitted drawings, certificates and the O&M manual, walked through with your team.

Every project in its own portal

Clients and main contractors follow the programme, approve variations and find every drawing and certificate in one place, years after handover.

Questions

Working in occupied buildings

Can you work at night or at weekends?

Yes, and most of our work in occupied buildings happens then. Out-of-hours working is priced into the tender, not added afterwards.

How do you handle isolations and shutdowns?

Every isolation is planned with your facilities team or engineers, booked in advance and carried out under a permit to work with lock-off.

Are your operatives DBS checked?

Everyone working in schools and healthcare has an enhanced DBS check, and we can provide them for any site that asks.
