More than a website

The site buyers assess, the CMS you run it from, the CRM every brief arrives in.

  • Every word on every page, and any section switched off or back on
  • Your services: one you switch off comes off your site everywhere, the brief included
  • Your accreditations and insurances, each with its number, its date, a link to check it and, near renewal, whether you've submitted it
  • Your tender pack: upload a PDF and it's listed with its version and date, and in the one-file download
  • Your company details, safety record and social value, shown once they're your own
  • Your projects with their specification and results, the one that leads your home page, your clients by name, sectors and team
  • Earlier versions kept, so nothing is ever lost
The CMS's Your business screen: the services offered, ticked, and each accreditation with its number, the link to check it and the date it runs to.

Built-in CRM

Every brief arrives ready to price.

  • The building, the work, the accreditations they need, when you can work and when it starts
  • Invitations to tender with their return date, parties and form of contract; maintenance enquiries with the estate and tests
  • A reference for each, shown to the client and emailed to them with a copy of what they sent
  • Their drawings, bills of quantities and certificates, attached to the enquiry and private to you
  • Stages in a contractor's own words: qualified, site visit, tender submitted, awarded, on site
  • A private page per project: the programme, the next visit, your price, variations, payments and documents
  • Clients and estates: every building against every test, what's due, and a reminder before each
A CRM record: a project brief from a facilities manager for a Cat B fit-out across three floors, with the building, the work, the accreditations needed and when it starts.

From a brief to handover

One connected journey: nothing asked twice.

  1. 1Finds your firm

The kind of building first, your accreditations underneath and a brief one tap away.

  2. 2Sends a brief

A brief, a tender or a maintenance enquiry, each in a few steps, with each accreditation they need checked against yours and a reference when it's sent.

  3. 3Lands in your CRM

Every answer in the brief's own words, ready to qualify and price.

  4. 4Follows the project

Their own page: where it's up to, the next visit and who's coming, your price, variations and payments.

  5. 5Stays on contract

Every building in their estate, each test's date, and what's waiting for their approval.

Project brief

A brief, a tender or a maintenance enquiry, each asked properly

A brief asks the building, the work, when you can work and the accreditations they need, each shown as held or not. A tender adds its dates, parties, form of contract, site visit and documents; a maintenance enquiry, the estate, tests, response and cover, and when their contract ends. Drawings attach to it, and the client gets a reference and a copy by email.

The project brief's accreditations step: the accreditations a client needs, each marked as held or not, with a summary of their answers beside them.

Accreditations

A register buyers can check for themselves

Every accreditation and insurance with its number, the date it runs to and a link to the scheme's own register. One past its date comes off your site on its own, and in its last two months it says whether the renewal is submitted or due, beside the date the current certificate runs to.

The accreditation register: each accreditation and insurance with what it means, its number or cover, the date it runs to and a link to check it.

Tender pack

Assess us without a phone call

Accreditations, insurances, safety, policies, social value and company details on one page, with a menu that stays in reach and a search. Policies download one by one or as one zip, each with its version and date. Buyers can download a capability statement, copy your company details into a supplier form, or email the page to their procurement team.

The procurement page's policies and certificates, each with its type, its version, the month it was updated and a download link.

Estate portal

Every building, every test, on one private page

Each maintenance client gets a page of their own: every building against every test, what's due and overdue, the next twelve months as a calendar, the latest certificates, remedials to approve with an order number, and a page per building for its landlord or insurer. A page on your site lets prospective clients try an example.

A client's private estate page: three buildings, what's due, overdue and waiting for approval, and each building against five tests.

Project pages

A private page for every project

Clients and main contractors see where the project is up to, the next visit and who's coming, your written price to accept, variations to approve before they're done, payments, messages both ways, and the drawings, certificates and O&M manual at handover.

A client's private project page: where the fit-out is up to, the next visit on nights and who's coming, and the written price line by line.

Project record

Case studies a buyer can forward

Each project has its own page: a specification panel (client, main contractor, consultant, value, programme, form of contract, your role, safety), the result in numbers, and the story from the brief to the handover, with a one-page PDF written for it each time you publish. The record filters by sector, service, value, location, year and whether the building stayed in use.

A project page's generated floor plan, marked as illustrative, showing containment runs, distribution boards and floor boxes.

Maintenance

Contracts with response times written in

Your testing schedule, your emergency, urgent and routine response times and the contracts you offer, on one page with the estate portal your clients get.

The maintenance page's estate portal panel and the three kinds of contract: compliance, compliance and reactive, and full maintenance.

Launch

Nothing made up ever goes live

The template's sample projects, reviews, team, figures and company details are never shown on your site. A launch checklist shows what's left, and search engines are asked not to list your site until you press Launch.

The launch checklist in the CMS: what's needed before launch, such as the firm's own name and contact details, with each step's progress.

Fifteen kinds of page

Organised around the three people who read a contractor's site.

01

Home

The kind of building first, your clients, one project at full width with its results, then sectors, services, maintenance and your accreditations.

02

Services

Every service you offer, each with its own page: what's included, how long it takes and the certificate it ends with.

03

Sectors

Offices, industrial, schools, shops and healthcare, each with what you plan for there, its projects and its questions.

04

Projects

Your project record, filterable, each project a case study with its specification, results and a PDF to forward.

05

Maintenance

The testing schedule, contracted response times, your contracts and the estate portal.

06

Client portal

An example of the portal your clients get, for prospective clients to try.

07

09

About

Questions

Straight answers.

What exactly do I get for £449?

The whole system on your own Vercel account: the website with a page for every service, sector and project, the project brief and the procurement page, your own CMS for every word, photo, accreditation and tender document, your own CRM for briefs, tenders and maintenance enquiries, and private pages for each project and each maintenance client. We install it and connect your domain; you add your content.

When do I pay?

After it's installed and you've logged in and seen it working. Ordering is free, and there's nothing to pay until then.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You'll create a Vercel account (we'll show you how) and have your domain to hand. Everything after that is done in your CMS: typing, uploading photos and documents, and pressing Publish.

How does the accreditation register stay current?

You record each accreditation and insurance in your CMS with its number, the date it runs to and the link to the scheme's own register. One past its date comes off your site on its own, and in its last two months it says whether you've submitted the renewal.

Where do briefs and tender invitations go?

Into your CRM, with every answer the client gave and any documents they attached: for a tender, its return date, the parties and the form of contract too. The client is shown a reference straight away and, once your sending address is set up, emailed a copy of what they sent.

What do my maintenance clients see?

A private estate page of their own: every building against every test it's on, what's due and what's overdue, remedials to approve with their order number, and a booking form. Each building has its own page to pass to its landlord or insurer, and they're emailed before each test is due.

Can buyers download my policies?

Yes. You upload each policy, statement and certificate as a PDF in your CMS. Your procurement page lists them with the version and month of each, and buyers can download them one by one or as a single zip, with a capability statement your site writes from your own details.

Will my site go live with your sample projects and figures?

No. Anything the template made up, its projects, reviews, team, figures and company details, is never shown on your site. A launch checklist in your CMS shows what's left to add, and search engines are asked not to list your site until you press Launch.

Does it have to look like Marlow & Reed?

No. Marlow & Reed Electrical is a fictional firm with computer-generated photographs, made to demonstrate the system. Your site uses your words, photos, accreditations and documents, and any section you don't need can be switched off.

Can you do it all for me instead?

Yes. The managed plan starts at £99 a month: we build it with your content, host it and look after it, and you still get the CMS and CRM.

No obligation. I'll reply personally, usually same day. I'll use your details only to reply — see the Privacy Policy.
